APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2020 TECHNOVATION FOR GOOD PROGRAM WILL BE ACCEPTED: Feb 7th, 2020 through April 15, 2020
Welcome to the first round of admissions for the Technovation for Good (tech4good) program!
Admission is intended for current high school juniors (rising seniors during the time of program) who have a genuine interest in pursuing a technology-related career field or wish to explore entrepreneurship or sustainability options. Potential candidates should display their competitive attributes through academic achievements, leadership potential, and community activities. Tech4good admissions committee will assist in the selection of candidates that show potential aligning with the goals of the program. The inaugural program is limited to 20 students. Limited need-based scholarships are available specifically for students from the following counties: Avery, Caldwell, Catawba, Forsyth, Watauga, and Wilkes.
Once applications are received, they are screened and reviewed. Applicants will be notified of the next steps by March 31, 2020.

The cost for the two-week program is $1,350 (cost is subsidized due to partial funding from Alex Lee, Inc.). Contributions from Technovation for Good fund will cover additional costs of the actual program. Program fees and funds from the grant will provide housing, instruction, meals and activities expenses. Students will be responsible for any additional incidentals or spending money.
